Tall Tales & Seasonal Stories: Ostara & The White Hare - Storytelling, Crafts & Egg Fun

A magical Easter adventure awaits! Children (ages 4+) and their parents will enjoy interactive storytelling from Amanda Kane-Smith of Merry-Go-Round Storytelling and hands-on crafts including the tradition of natural egg dying with Jolanta Rolt. The story we will be covering is Ostara and the white hare! Join us for two hours of fun, song, stories and crafts. A great way to kick off the Easter holidays and spend some time in the woods!

Parent attendance required. Games and refreshments included.

Suitcase Stories: Nightjar

“This is migration little one, there are no borders in the sky.”

This is a one person performance with all of the props used fitting in a suitcase. It'll be full of Ghanaian culture, song, music and a stunning Nightjar puppet.

Each week brings a new activity; painting, sticking, building, decorating, and exploring different materials and techniques. Whether your child loves messy makes or mindful crafting, there’s something to spark every imagination.

Step into the past and discover what life was really like over 2,000 years ago at Back to the Iron Age, every Thursday of the Hampshire School holidays! Perfect for families, history‑lovers, and curious minds of all ages, this immersive experience brings the Iron Age to life through hands‑on activities, storytelling, and real archaeological inspiration.

With a different theme each week, meet Iron Age characters, handle replica tools and weapons or learn how ancient communities cooked, crafted, and thrived long before modern life. From grinding grain to trying out simple weaving, you’ll get a feel for the everyday skills that shaped Iron Age Britain.

Easter Egg decorating with In Andover and Chapel Arts Studios

Free fun family event. Come along to the indoor garden in the Chantry Centre on Easter Monday and let your creative side loose by decorating an egg to take home.

Alice in Wonderland - a Pantomime from Hot Rock Productions

Panto time? Oh Yes It Is! Hot Rock Productions is excited to be bringing to The Lights a fun-filled family pantomime - Alice in Wonderland - featuring stunning scenery, colourful costumes, toe-tapping songs and bucket loads of laughter.

Teach Rex

The award-winning Teach Rex team are delighted to be bringing this unique, interactive show back to the families of Andover after performing several sold out shows at the Natural History Museum! Teach Rex uses life-like dinosaurs to perform their 1 hour show, teaching children about the anatomy and life of one the most mesmerising creatures that have ever roamed our planet. The show is teamed with effects, music and gives children and their families the chance to get up close and personal with these fantastic, realistic beasts.
