Continuing ATU's strong connection with Peace Day celebrations and the Peace Dove processions held at Harmony Woods. Children create a dove carrying a message of peace for people, wildlife, oceans, and the planet. The doves will later be displayed in Harmony Woods as a community installation for September's International Day of Peace.

Dive into an ocean of creativity with this engaging drop-in activity. Experiment with water art and discover the fascinating effects that occur when oil and water mix, creating colourful and unique designs. Then let your imagination set sail with a Message in a Bottle creative writing activity, where you’ll explore life beneath the waves and write from the perspective of a sea creature.

Back by popular demand, Team Rubicon returns with their exciting skateboarding workshops! Whether you're stepping on a skateboard for the first time or looking to build your confidence and skills, these fun and supportive sessions are a great opportunity to get active, learn new tricks, and enjoy the thrill of skateboarding in a safe environment.

Where the Ash Trees Grow is is a community art project led by artist and storyteller Amanda Kane-Smith, inspired by the meaning of Andover's name, which is thought to mean 'Ash Tree Stream'.
Throughout August, the O2 shop in the Chantry Centre will be transformed into a growing installation of handmade ash trees and a chalk stream. Local people will be invited to drop into the O2 shop to contribute to the installation by helping create the trees and stream and to write their thoughts, hopes and wishes on leaves on the trees, and stones and ‘ripples’ in the river bed. -
Discover the incredible journey of water from rivers to the ocean and learn how these environments are connected. Join the TVBC countryside team for an engaging, hands-on session exploring the importance of our waterways, the wildlife they support, and how what happens upstream can have an impact all the way to the sea.

Have a 'whale' of a time on Friday 21 August with Talking Birds. Enter the giant metal whale to enjoy a charming, playful theatre experience. Once inside, you will meet a lovesick submariner in this fantastic adventure for children and their grown-ups.

Prepare to be amazed as The Bubblesman brings a world of wonder, colour, and giant bubbles to the event. Enjoy spectacular bubble fun throughout the day, with interactive drop-in sessions where you can have a go yourself, as well as a mesmerising bubble performance that’s sure to delight children and adults alike.

Join Andover Library for a delightful day of songs, stories, crafts, and fun! At 11am, enjoy a lively 30-minute rhymetime session with music and singing. Throughout the day, children can also take part in drop-in craft activities, perfect for getting creative. Then, return at 2.30pm for a magical storytime session designed to spark imaginations and bring stories to life.
