Top Secret – The Magic of Science 2025

Room on the Broom – Storytelling & Craft Fun
with Amanda Kane-Smith from Merry-Go-Round Storytelling

A magical hour of Room on the Broom storytelling for children (2+) and parents, followed by hands-on mini broom (and possibly wand) making from real hazel twigs.

Wednesday Creepy Craft Club: Make Your Own Ectoplasm!

Wednesday Craft Club returns with a spooky Halloween special! This half-term, join Andover Museum for some slimy, gooey fun as you mix up and play with your very own batch of museum “ectoplasm.”

A perfect hands-on activity for families, children can get creative (and a little messy!) while learning how to make this spooky slime to take home. Drop in any time between 11am and 3pm and enjoy some frightfully fun crafting.

What to bring:  All materials provided. Please wear clothing that you don't mind getting a little messy.

Location: Museum of the Iron Age
Cost: £2 per child with free admission to the workshop space at Andover Museum. We also offer a loyalty scheme; complete 4 crafts and you get your 5th for free!

Awesome Autumn – Storytelling, Pumpkin Carving & Bulb Planting
with Amanda Kane-Smith from Merry-Go-Round Storytelling

Celebrate autumn with interactive storytelling from Amanda Kane-Smith of Merry-Go-Round Storytelling, pumpkin carving, and planting Wild Daffodil bulbs. A creative seasonal adventure for children (4+) and parents.

Villains Unleashed!

Losing their magic powers as the screams of Halloween fade away, the Villains plan the perfect Halloween party. Join them as they plot and scheme to conjure up a magical event, guaranteed to make everyone celebrate the most haunting time of year.

Prepare to be spellbound with this hour-long show of spine-tingling songs, chilling choreography, and devilish party dances guaranteed to get you trembling in your seats. Dress up in your favourite Halloween costume and if you dare… join the Villains themselves for a FREE meet and greet after the show. Book now, it’s going to be a scream!

Trick or Treat

Returning for its 4th Year, Andover Community Events brings you the Trick or Treat night of ghouls, grooves and guaranteed goodies. This free to attend family event offers fancy dress and pumpkin carving competitions as well as the Devils Disco.

This is an opportunity to TRICK OR TREAT at multiple business in the town centre open their doors ready to hand out treats. It’s a safe and exciting event with an opportunity to fill your bags with as many sweets as you can carry and then dance off (some) of the sugar.

Bring your little monsters, witches and goblins…it’s going to be a scream!

INANDOVER are so excited to be once again collaborating with Andover Community Events and Andover Radio to run this event in the Town Centre.

Andover Museum by Torchlight

Dress in your spookiest costumes and explore the museum by torchlight - if you dare! Enjoy spooky object storytelling, ghost stories, crafts and Halloween themed snacks.

Recommended for children aged 5+, all children must be accompanied by an adult.
