10.30am, 11.45am & 1.30pm Storytelling with Amanda from Merry-Go-Round Storytelling (30 mins)
Amanda from Merry-go-Round Storytelling is back with her usual high-energy interactive storytelling! Expect playful performances with lots of participation as she brings classic tales to life. Suitable for all ages!
11am, 12.30pm & 2pm Samba drumming with Swan Samba (free but must be booked in advance here) (30 mins)
A fun, active, and educational workshop learning how to drum with your hands and sticks on different surfaces, exploring rhythm, movement and creativity while also supporting children to grow in confidence - paced, energised and full of accessible fun and movement.
Led by a qualified and experienced teacher and musician from Swan Samba
Suitable for ages 6+ but must be accompanied by an adult throughout the workshop.
10.30am - 1pm & 1.30pm - 3pm Facepainting with Ruby Slippers Show School
Lauren’s facepainting is legendary! Always hugely popular at Four Fun Fridays, she will be here every week. Whether to transform you into your favourite animal or decorate your face with dazzling stars, Lauren's artistic skills will bring your imagination to life.
10.30am - 3pm Scooters and skateboards with Team Rubicon (drop in)
Try out scootering and skateboarding with help from Team Rubicon. They provide all the equipment including helmets and knee pads so you can have fun safely and learn a new skill.
10.30am - 3pm Meet Andover Library staff (drop in) and Rhymetime (2.15pm)
Meet our local friendly library staff, find out about this year’s exciting Summer Reading Challenge and the many different activities going on at the library.
At 2.15pm come along to Rhymetime, suitable for ages 0 – 5, with puppets, songs, rhymes and fun!
10.30am - 3pm Peace Doves with Andover Trees United (drop in)
Create peace doves using a template that they can decorate with natural materials. They can write messages of peace or wishes for the world on their doves and hang them in the wood on World Peace day.
10.30am - 3pm Street Art with Chapel Arts Studios and Liz Hammond (drop in)
Fun for all the family – contribute to a terrific mural on Andover High Street.
10.30am - 3pm Urban sketch- Guildhall 200 (drop in)
Are you a budding artist? The Guildhall in Andover is 200 years old this year, and we are inviting young artists to draw the building. Pictures will be exhibited in the Guildhall on Sunday 14th September.
